William "Bill" Henry Decker (1877-1934) and Miles "Mike" Decker (1917-1935) sympathy cards, letters, etc.

This page will be dedicated to cards, letters, etc. the Decker family received from friends and relatives when William "Bill" Henry Decker (1877-1934) and Miles "Mike" Decker (1917-1935) passed. Wilhelmina "Dolly" (nee McGowan), who is Bill's wife and Mike's mother, kept these items in box. Some of the card may be addressed to Bill's daughter Ruth. This box was handed down to us from our grandmother.

Warning: At the very bottom there are three photos of Miles in his casket. Please remember it was common to display the body in the home back then. If this offends you, please do not look at them.

Bill was a either a business associate of Mr. Hormel (Bill was a butcher, herded cattle up from Chicago, and farmed- we've heard no oral history as of this post about him working at the plant) or George's wife was a relative of Bill's- same last name, both from Germany- we haven't researched enough or had much luck with locating Bill's relatives unfortunately.
